And they will remove it from their Amigas for the purpose, and if they find
the emulation suits their needs they won't even consider cashing in on all
that genuine Amiga hardware, will they?

Well, a number of ex-Amigans - who abandoned the platform because of poor
hardware performance - have expressed interest already. I doubt many
completely *new* users would be attracted, but Amithlon at least offers the
possibility of growth, both for the OS and software written for it. I know
BeOS failed, and QNX isn't exactly setting the desktop world on fire, but
they were/are playing a different game. Besides, why would Amiga Inc or
anyone else support the emulators if they couldn't make any money out of
them?
